Share market update: Bandhan Bank, Star Cement among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 116.39 points up at 38,330.86 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Hisar Metal Industries (up 18.21 per cent) , Bhagyanagar Industries (up 17.91 per cent), Benara Bearings & Pistons (up 16.67 per cent), Coastal Corp (up 16.54 per cent) , APM Finvest (up 15.68 per cent) , D & H India (up 15.60 per cent) , Polylink Poly (up 14.80 per cent) , TBZ (up 14.23 per cent) , Zim Laboratories (up 12.29 per cent), Patspin India (up 12.15 per cent), Star Cement (up 6.30 per cent) and Bandhan Bank (up 6.27 per cent) were among the top performers.

The Nifty 50 index was trading 28.35 points up at 11,369.50.


Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 36 shares were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
