Share market update: Aviation stocks up; Jet Airways climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Aviation stocks were trading on a positive note in Friday's afternoon session.

Shares of Jet Airways (up 4.91 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 3.10 per cent), Taneja Aerospace & Aviation (up 2.39 per cent) and Global Vectra Helicorp (up 1.31 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While SpiceJet (down 6.10 per cent) and TAAL Enterprises (down 1.15 per cent) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 75.50 points down at 12206.7, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 226.63 points at 41400.01 at around 02:45 pm.
