Share market update: Aviation stocks fly; Jet Airways soars 5%

The 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 199.61 points at 41799.33.

TAAL Enterprises (up 5.86 per cent), Jet Airways (up 4.94 per cent) and Interglobe Aviation (up 0.61 per cent) were the top gainers among aviation stocks.

NEW DELHI: Aviation stocks were trading with gains in Monday's afternoon session.

Shares of TAAL Enterprises (up 5.86 per cent), Jet Airways (up 4.94 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 0.61 per cent), Taneja Aerospace & Aviation (up 0.59 per cent) and Global Vectra Helicorp (up 0.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While SpiceJet (down 2.03 per cent) was the sole loser.

The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 57.40 points up at 12314.2, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 199.61 points at 41799.33 at around 01:58 pm.
