Share market update: Aviation stocks climb; Jet Airways zooms 5%

NEW DELHI: Aviation stocks were trading on a positive note in Tuesday's afternoon session.
Shares of Jet Airways (up 4.96 per cent), Taneja Aerospace & Aviation (up 4.83 per cent), Global Vectra Helicorp (up 4.80 per cent) and SpiceJet (up 2.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.
TAAL Enterprises (down 3.08 per cent) and Interglobe Aviation (down 0.17 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty-50 index was trading 46.70 points down at 12209.15, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 165.89 points at 41392.11 at around 02:53 pm.
