Share market update: Auto shares mixed; Hero MotoCorp down 1%
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.1 per cent down at 7052.25.

NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's session.
Shares of Bharat Forge (up 2.07 per cent) , Ashok Leyland (up 0.67 per cent) , Exide Industries (up 0.42 per cent) , Mahindra & Mahindra (up 0.42 per cent) , MRF (up 0.2 per cent) , Motherson Sumi Systems (up 0.16 per cent) , Tata Motors (up 0.14 per cent) and Eicher Motors (up 0.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Hero MotoCorp (down 1.26 per cent) , Bosch (down 1.1 per cent) , Apollo Tyres (down 0.69 per cent) , Maruti Suzuki (down 0.52 per cent) , Amara Raja Batteries (down 0.26 per cent), TVS Motor Company (down 0.08 per cent) and Bajaj Auto (down 0.01 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.1 per cent down at 7052.25 around 11:58AM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 69.80 points at 10775.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 264.49 points at 36593.5.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, SAIL, SBI, Tata Motors, YES Bank, NALCO, Hindalco Inds., ICICI Bank and GAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
