Share market update: Airline sector takes off; Jet Airways climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Airline stocks were trading with gains in Tuesday's afternoon session.
Shares of Jet Airways (up 4.86 per cent), SpiceJet (up 2.42 per cent), Taneja Aerospace & Aviation (up 2.29 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 0.44 per cent) and Global Vectra Helicorp (up 0.39 per cent) were among the top gainers.
TAAL Enterprises (down 0.44 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty 50 index was trading 14.60 points down at 12248.15, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 62.76 points at 41579.9 at around 01:06 pm.
