Share market update: Adani Green, DCAL among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 5 shares were trading in the green, while 44 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 261.34 points down at 40,608.13 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Metroglobal Ltd (up 18.70 per cent) , Wall Street Finance (up 17.66 per cent) , Gujarat Auto (up 17.25 per cent) , Surana Solar (up 15.27 per cent) , Vijay Textiles (up 14.14 per cent) , Monarch Networth Ca (up 12.76 per cent) , Century Extrus (up 12.00 per cent) , Bang Overseas (up 10.55 per cent) , Weizmann Forex (up 9.98 per cent), Paramount Comm (up 9.94 per cent), Adani Green (up 5 per cent) and DCAL (up 5 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 84.15 points down at 11,968.80.
