NEW DELHI: Around 98 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs ,Banaras Beads , Akash Infra-Projects, Balkrishna Industries, Brooks Laboratories, Divi's Laboratories, Emami, The Grob Tea Company, Essel Propack, Ester Industries, Jindal Stainless, Marksans Pharma, Mastek, Ndr Auto Components, Karda Constructions,MindTree, TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS and UFLEX.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 76.25 points up at 11388.45 on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 45 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 5 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, PowerGrid, SBI, Sun Pharma, NTPC and Grasim Industries were among top gainers, while ZEEL, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, TCS and RIL were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 251.24 points up at 38471.63.
