Share market update: 75 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 75 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday 's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs, Aurobindo Pharma, Alembic Pharma, Balaji Telefilms, Balaxi Ventures, GTPL Hathway, Eveready Industries, Caplin Point Laboratories, Granules India, Dr. Reddy's Labs, HIL,Hindustan Foods, Hindustan Zinc, Indiamart Intermesh, Jindal Poly Films, Karda Constructions, Shilpa Medicare, Tata Communications, Torrent Power, Marksans Pharma and Polyplex Corporation.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 1.15 points down at 11199.00 on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 34 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 15 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, UPL , Dr. Reddy's Labs, Maruti Suzuki, GAIL and ONGC were among top gainers, while HCL Tech, Infosys, Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank and HDFC were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 32.46 points down at 37992.99.
