Share market update: 70 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 70 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Adani Green, Aarti Drugs, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Cropscience, Alok Industries, Birla Tyres, Cipla, Glenmark Pharma, Laurus Labs , EID Parry India, Mittal Life Style, Reliance Industries, Network18 Media & Investments, Suven Pharma, Suven Pharmaceuticals, Ruchi Soya Industries, V.S.T Tillers Tractors and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 58.80 points up at 10303.20 on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 37 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 12 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Auto, Cipla, Bajaj Finance and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers. While Grasim Industries, Wipro, ONGC, Hindalco Inds. and UltraTech Cement were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 179.13 points up at 34910.86.
