Share market update: 66 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

​Overall, 26 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 23 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

NEW DELHI: Around 66 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs, Alok Industries, Andhra Cements, GTN Industries, Escorts, Birla Tyres, Navin Fluorine International, JMT Auto, IDBI Bank, Karda Constructions, Sagardeep Alloys , TIPS Industries and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 40.75 points up at 10342.85 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 26 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 23 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL , Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers, while NTPC, Kotak Bank, Larsen & Toubro, ONGC and Bharti Infratel were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 174.75 points up at 35090.55.
