Share market update: 63 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 63 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alkyl Amine Chemicals, Apollo Hospitals, Asian Paints, Balkrishna Industries, City Union Bank, Dabur India, GMR Infra, HCL Tech, HAL, IGL, JK Cement, Jubilant Foodworks, NMDC, PVR and Tata Coffee.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 29.25 points up at 12,372.55 while the BSE Sensex was trading 127.28 points up at

42,000.01.

Overall, 29 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, YES Bank, Nestle India, Eicher Motors, Kotak Bank and RIL were among the top gainers.

While Vedanta , JSW Steel, Tata Steel, NTPC and Hindalco Inds. were trading in the red.
