Share market update: 6 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 6 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Grand Foundry, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Jiya Eco-Products, Trent and Vikas WSP.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 8.70 points down at 11,008.30 while the BSE Sensex was trading 1.63 points down at 37,326.38.


Overall, 17 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Infosys, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers.

While Tata Motors, Hindalco Inds., Vedanta , YES Bank and Bharti Infratel were trading in the red.
