Share market update: 59 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 59 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Amber Enterprises India , Akash Infra-Projects, Balaxi Ventures, Cadila Healthcare, Eveready Industries India , FDC, Essel Propack , Jubilant Life Sciences,Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Majesco, Persistent Systems, Unichem Laboratories, Tata Communications, PI Industries and Torrent Pharmaceuticals.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 86.50 points up at 10978.10 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 29 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 21 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Zee Ent., Coal India Ltd, Hero MotoCorp and RIL were among top gainers.

While IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, UltraTech Cement and Infosys were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 312.24 points up at 37251.84.
