Share market update: 57 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 57 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Adani Enterprises, Amara Raja Batteries, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, Atul, AU Small Finance Bank, Dabur India, Gujarat Industries Power Company, Gujarat State Petronet Limited, Gujarat Gas, Indraprastha Gas, Jubilant Foodworks, Laurus Labs, PVR, Torrent Power and Vaibhav Global.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 38.25 points down at 12,210 while the BSE Sensex was trading 113.50 points down at 41,499.69.


Overall, 16 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cement, ICICI Bank, Grasim Inds., M&M and Axis Bank were among the top gainers.

While JSW Steel, Vedanta , Tata Steel, Hindalco Inds. and Tata Motors were trading in the red.
