Share market update: 55 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 55 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Advanced Enzyme Technologies, Ashapura Minechem, Bafna Pharmaceuticals, Balaxi Ventures, Brooks Laboratories, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Deepak Nitrite, Expleo Solutions, Gujarat Apollo Industries, Hikal, Intellect Design Arena, Jubilant Foodworks, Laurus Labs, Mindtree, Oriental Aromatics and Ramco Systems.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 54.85 points up at 11570.95 on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 40 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 9 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddy's Labs, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Hindalco Inds. and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers, while HUL, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Life Insurance Company and Bharti Infratel were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 149.38 points up at 39129.23.
