Share market update: 53 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 53 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were 8K Miles Software, Asian Paints, Bigbloc Construction, Ambuja Cements, Dr. Lal Path Labs, Indiabulls Ventures, CG Power, Majesco, Ramco Systems, Tata Consultancy Services and Sequent Scientific.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 77.05 points up at 11739.45 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 24 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 26 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Titan Company , ONGC, UPL and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and PowerGrid were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 299.03 points up at 39873.60.
