Share market update: 51 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 51 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday 's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were 8K Miles Software, Aarti Drugs, Bigbloc Construction, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise , GTL, HCL Technologies , Hero MotoCorp, Coforge, Hexaware Technologies, Infosys , Larsen & Toubro Infotech, TCS and Tech Mahindra.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 131.90 points up at 11870.75 on Thursday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 34 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 16 were trading in red.
In the Nifty 50 index, TCS, HCL Tech, Wipro, Infosys and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers, while GAIL, ONGC, Titan Company , Eicher Motors and BPCL were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 481.46 points up at 40360.41.
