Share market update: 50 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 50 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs, Adani Green, LT Foods, Alok Industries, Birla Tyres , Brightcom Group, Dhanuka Agritech, Mittal Life Style, Kaveri Seed Company , Network18 Media & Investments, Tata Communications and Ruchi Soya Industries and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 31.40 points down at 9882.60.


Overall, 17 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 31 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Britannia Inds. and Axis Bank were among top gainers.

While Bharti Infratel, M&M, Hero MotoCorp, PowerGrid and Shree Cements were trading in red. The BSE Sensex was trading 114.03 points down at 33491.19.
