Share market update: 48 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 48 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were 5Paisa Capital, Balaxi Ventures, Astec LifeSciences Coromandel International Deepak Fertilizers, Britannia Industries, HCL Tech, Escorts, Eveready Industries, Laurus Labs, SBI Cards and Payment Services, Wipro and Suven Pharma.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 112.25 points up at 11134.45 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 31 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 19 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BPCL, Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Indian Oil Corp were among top gainers.

While Hindalco Inds., Zee Ent., Bharti Infratel, Bajaj Finserv and Sun Pharma were trading in red. The BSE Sensex was trading 396.01 points up at 37815.00.
