Share market update: 47 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 47 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Ajanta Pharma, Bajaj Finance, Bata India, EID Parry India, Gujarat Gas, Indraprastha Gas, Jindal Steel & Power, Mazda, PVR, SRF, Ruchi Soya Industries, PI Industries and Whirlpool.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 34.90 points down at 12,103.05 while the BSE Sensex was trading 121.87 points down at 41,184.16.


Overall, 25 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Zee Ent., UPL , NTPC, Hero MotoCorp and UltraTech Cem. were among the top gainers.

While Eicher Motors, PowerGrid, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors and Indian Oil Corp were trading in the red.
