Share market update: 47 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 47 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday 's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alkyl Amines Chemicals, Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries , ITI, Balaxi Ventures, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Majesco, GMM Pfaudler, Hindustan Aeronautics, Vaibhav Global and Eros International.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 44.55 points down at 11277.95 on Wednesday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 16 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 34 were trading in red. In the Nifty 50 index, SBI, Adani Ports SEZ, M&M, Eicher Motors and Hero MotoCorp were among top gainers, while Hindalco Inds., Cipla, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Bank and Sun Pharma were trading in red.
