Share market update: 46 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 46 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday 's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Adani Green Energy, Bafna Pharmaceuticals, Bigbloc Construction, Berger Paints , Coforge , Granules India, Hero MotoCorp, Welspun India, Supreme Petrochem, Persistent Systems and Vertoz Advertising.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 21.55 points up at 11249.10 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 23 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 27 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, TCS, Hindalco Inds., Hero MotoCorp, JSW Steel and Wipro were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 62.81 points up at 38044.44.
