Share market update: 46 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 46 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alkyl Amines Chemicals,APL Apollo Tubes, Bharat Dynamics , Balaxi Ventures, BIRLASOFT , Hindustan Aeronautics, Dhunseri Tea, Majesco, MindTree, Tanla Solutions and Xelpmoc Design.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 40.15 points up at 11340.60 on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 28 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 22 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Larsen & Toubro, Dr. Reddys Labs and RIL were among top gainers.

While Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. and PowerGrid were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 150.87 points up at 38461.36.
