Share market update: 44 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 44 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Industries, Amber Enterprises, Blue Star, DFM Foods, Bajaj Finserv, Jubilant Industries, Gujarat State Petronet Limited, Manappuram Finance, McDowell Holdings, PI Industries, Rana Sugars, Tata Chemicals, Tata Coffee and Vaibhav Global.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 85.95 points up at 12,141.75 while the BSE Sensex was trading 279.56 points up at 41,246.42.


Overall, 42 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Adani Ports SEZ, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Hindalco Inds. were among the top gainers.

While Dr. Reddy's Lab, YES Bank, Eicher Motors, TCS and BPCL were trading in the red.
