Share market update: 42 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 42 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs , Alkyl Amines Chemicals, Bharat Dynamics, ITI, Escorts,Geojit Financial Services, Hindustan Aeronautics, IOL Chemicals, IDBI Bank, Karda Constructions, Vertoz Advertising, Reliance Industries, TCS, Vaibhav Global and Sagardeep Alloys .

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 41.65 points down at 10,722.00 on Tuesday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 18 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 32 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Infosys and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, PowerGrid, BPCL, M&M and Grasim Inds. were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 108.49 points down at 36378.79.
