Share market update: 41 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 41 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aurobindo Pharma, Astec LifeSciences, Alkyl Amines Chemicals, Bharat Rasayan, Biocon, Britannia Industries, Lakshmi Finance, Escorts,Larsen & Toubro Infotech , Jubilant Life Sciences, PI Industries, TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS, Vertoz Advertising, UFLEX and Reliance Communications.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 63.40 points down at 10750.05 on Friday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 14 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 36 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, Britannia Industries, RIL, HUL and Cipla were among top gainers, while Bharti Infratel, JSW Steel, Adani Ports SEZ, Tech Mahindra and IndusInd Bank were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 216.09 points down at 36521.60.
