Share market update: 37 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 37 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday 's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were 8K Miles Software, Akash Infra-Projects, Bafna Pharmaceuticals, Bigbloc Construction, Biocon, Cipla, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise , GTL, Globus Spirits, Hero MotoCorp, Cipla and Valiant Organics.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 46.45 points up at 11881.05 on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 26 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 23 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Steel, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Shree Cements, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finserv, Maruti Suzuki, M&M and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers, while Grasim Inds., HUL, UPL , Tech Mahindra, TCS, Asian Paints, Nestle India, UltraTech Cem., Bajaj Auto, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd., Britannia Inds. and Adani Ports SEZ were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 183.37 points up at 40366.04.
