Share market update: 29 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 29 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alchemist, Adani Green Energy, Alok Industries, Birla Tyres , Brightcom Group, LT Foods, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, GMM Pfaudler, Lupin , Granules India , The Motor & General Finance, Mittal Life Style, Shilpa Medicare, Ruchi Soya Industries Vaibhav Global and Ruchi Infrastructure.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 66.25 points up at 10112.90.
Overall, 29 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 20 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Vedanta , Hindalco Inds., Kotak Bank and TCS were among top gainers.
While GAIL, ONGC, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv and Hero MotoCorp were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 244.17 points up at 34200.86.
