Share market update: 28 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 28 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Amber Enterprises India, Artemis Medicare Services, Avenue Supermarts, IPCA Laboratories, Jubilant Foodworks, Rana Sugars, Ruchi Soya Industries, TIPS Industries and SRF.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 12.55 points up at 12,048.35 while the BSE Sensex was trading 89.86 points up at 41,003.68.


Overall, 21 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Auto, IndusInd Bank, YES Bank and Bharti Infratel were among the top gainers.

While ONGC, Tata Motors, Indian Oil Corp, PowerGrid and Coal India Ltd were trading in the red.
