Share market update: 24 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 24 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Andhra Cements, Alok Industries, Birla Tyres , Brightcom Group, Dhanuka Agritech, Granules India, Karda Constructions, Mittal Life Style, Panacea Biotec, Ruchi Soya Industries and Ruchi Infrastructure.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 185.50 points down at 9716.50.
Overall, 6 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 44 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Infratel, Vedanta , Titan Company , Bharti Airtel and Britannia Inds. were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, Zee Ent., Tata Motors, ONGC and Axis Bank were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 649.09 points down at 32889.28.
