Share market update: 236 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 22.75 points down at 11,125.45.

NEW DELHI: Around 236 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Aban Offshore, Asian Hotels (East), AksharChem India, Amara Raja Batteries, The Anup Engineering, Apex Frozen Foods and Bharat Forge.

Biocon, CEAT, Central Bank of India, Cox & Kings, Cyient, Dabur India, Eicher Motors, Hero MotoCorp, IDBI Bank, Indiabulls Ventures, Metropolis Healthcare, Prakash Industries, Steel Strips Wheels and Tata Elxsi also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 22.75 points down at 11,125.45 while the BSE Sensex was trading 62.28 points down at 37,028.54.

In the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma, Vedanta , Adani Ports SEZ, GAIL and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the top gainers on the NSE.
