Share market update: 23 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 23 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday 's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Bafna Pharmaceuticals, Balaxi Ventures, Brooks Laboratories, HSIL, Jyoti Structures, Karda Constructions, Kellton Tech Solutions, Nucleus Software Exports and Venus Remedies.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 62.55 points down at 11188.00 on Tuesday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.


Overall, 11 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 39 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, Cipla, IndusInd Bank and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while Zee Ent., GAIL, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Motors and UPL were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 171.20 points down at 37862.94.
