NEW DELHI: Around 21 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday 's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, Bafna Pharmaceuticals, Brooks Laboratories, Globus Spirits, IG Petrochemicals, Shree Ram Proteins, Majesco and Xelpmoc Design And Tech.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 160.20 points down at 10971.65 on Thursday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 4 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 46 were trading in red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Infratel, Dr. Reddys Laborat, Kotak Bank, PowerGrid and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Hindalco Inds. and Zee Ent. were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 535.41 points down at 37133.01.
