Share market update: 14 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 14 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Agro Phos India, Bajaj Finserv, DLF, IIFL Securities, Uttam Value Steels, Vikas Proppant & Granite, Visesh Infotecnics and Vishwaraj Sugar Industries.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 78.05 points up at 12,132 while the BSE Sensex was trading 282.08 points up at 41,220.80.


Overall, 40 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, Vedanta , JSW Steel, Zee Ent. and Infosys were among the top gainers.

While GAIL, Sun Pharma, ONGC, Indian Oil Corp and NTPC were trading in the red.
