Share market update: 13 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 13 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Agro Phos India, Akash Infra-Projects, City Union Bank, ICICI Securities, IIFL Securities, Sanginita Chemicals and Uttam Value Steels.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 8.80 points up at 12,027.20 while the BSE Sensex was trading 43.63 points up at

40,823.22.

Overall, 26 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Infratel, Asian Paints, Tata Steel and Sun Pharma were among the top gainers.

While YES Bank, ZEEL, UPL , ONGC and SBI were trading in the red.
