Share market update: 12 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 149.50 points up at 8972.75
NEW DELHI: Around 12 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Astec LifeSciences, Bharti Airtel , Alchemist, Geekay Wires, New Delhi Television Limited, Educomp Solutions , Sujana Universal Industries and Ruchi Soya Industries.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 149.50 points up at 8972.75
Overall, 45 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 5 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Tata Motors, Adani Ports SEZ and JSW Steel were among top gainers. While UPL , Vedanta , Hind. Unilever, Cipla and Asian Paints were trading in red.
