Share market update: 12 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 12 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Agro Phos India, Ashapura Minechem, Berger Paints, Bharti Airtel, Indraprastha Gas, Religare Enterprises, Siemens and Spandana Sphoorty Financial.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 43.40 points down at 11,269.90 while the BSE Sensex was trading 142.09 points down at 38,035.86.


Overall, 15 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel, Grasim Industries, RIL, Asian Paints and Hero MotoCorp were among the top gainers.

While Indiabulls Housing Finance, YES Bank, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and GAIL were trading in the red.
