Sensex up 50 pts: Rupa, Dredging Corp, VST Industries hit 52-week high

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rupa & Co, Dredging Corp, VST Industries, Vadilal Ind and Summit Sec were among the stocks that hit fresh 52-week high even as the broader market was trading rangebound.

Shares of Rupa & Co, Dredging Corp, VST Industries, Vadilal Ind, Summit Sec, NBI Industrial Finance Company, JITF Infralogistics, Cura Tech, Indiabulls Ventures hit their fresh 52-week high in Friday’s trade.

However, stocks such as Tricom India, Gangotri Text, Bharati Ship, SRS Ltd, Servalakshmi Pap, KSS Ltd, Shekhawati Poly, Zenith Birla, Rasoya Proteins, Mahamaya Steel touched their fresh 52-week low.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 0.65 points down at 9153.05 in the afternoon trade following mixed global cues.

Overall, 13 shares in the Nifty 50 index were trading in green, while 38 were in red.
In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, HCL Tech, Lupin, Wipro, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki were trading in green, while Idea Cellular, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Bank of Baroda, Larsen & Toubro, SBI, Zee Entertainment, Tata Motors, Hindalco Inds., Bajaj Auto were among top losers.
The BSE Sensex was trading 56.78 points up at 29642.63 in the afternoon trade.
