Sensex up 200 points, Nifty50 above 11,300
Defying subdued Asian cues, the domestic equity market kicked off Friday's trade on a positive note. At 09:24 am, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 225 points higher at 37,390.46. Axis Bank (up 1.27 per cent) was the top index gainer whereas Wipro (down 0.32 per cent) emerged to be the worst laggard.
