Sensex surges! Stocks that gained over 10%

NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in the green on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of SK International ( 20 per cent) , Mukand Ltd ( 19.98 per cent) , Hinduja Global ( 17.65 per cent) , Hanman Fit ( 15.27 per cent) , Redington ( 14.52 per cent) , Sreeleather ( 13.71 per cent) , Tata Metaliks ( 13.07 per cent) , Umiya Tubes Ltd. ( 12.25 per cent) and SRG Housing Finance ( 10.32 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex was trading 883.79 points up at 49892.29 on Tuesday, while the 50-share Nifty index was 264 points up at 14771.3.


In the Nifty 50 index, 47 stocks were trading in the green, while 3 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Tata Steel BSL, Orchid Pharma , Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Shree Cements, Adani Transmission, Dr Lal Pathlabs, Godrej Industries, Prism Johnson and 3M India hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade.

However, Dhani Ibull Ventures (PP),Global Education,Future Retail and Indian Railway Finance Corporation touched their new 52-week low in trade.
