Sensex plunges! Stocks that fell 5% or more

NEW DELHI: The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 1905.18 points down at 49134.13 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, MRC Exim (down 18.52 per cent) , ABB Power Products (down 11.72 per cent) , Diksat Transworld (down 10.67 per cent) , Sanco Trans (down 10 per cent) , RGF Capital Markets (down 10.00 per cent) , Valencia Nutrition (down 9.96 per cent) , ICL Organic Dairy (down 9.90 per cent) , Kilpest India (down 9.11 per cent) , SSPN Finance (down 9.00 per cent) and Sparc Systems (down 8.96 per cent) were among the top losers.

The Nifty index was trading 555.80 points down at 14541.55.
MMTC, Hind Copper, Linde India, Thermax, Sundaram Fin, NALCO, Blue Star Ltd, HUDCO and GE Shipping touched their fresh 52-week high today.
