Sensex jumps 284 pts, Nifty50 tops 10,750; bank stocks rally
Positive global cues and healthy buying support for banking, capital goods and metal stocks lifted the key indices of the Indian equity market on Thursday. The BSE Sensex closed at 35,463.08 points, 284.20 points higher from the previous day's close at 35,178.88 points. Nifty gained 83.70 points to provisionally close at 10,768.35 points.
