NEW DELHI: Shares of Selan Exploration Technology rallied 10 per cent on early Thursday after NSE data showed ace investor Dolly Khanna picking substantial shares in the company.

According to the data, she bought 1,04,250 shares of the company at Rs 244.03, amounting to over Rs 2.5 crore.

The company on Wednesday reported a 320 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 14.25 crore against Rs 3.39 crore in the year-ago period.


Revenue from operations stood at Rs 28.25 crore, an 80 per cent rise over Rs 15.66 crore a year earlier.

Diluted EPS (earnings per share) came in at Rs 8.69 against the earlier Rs 2.07.

Selan Exploration Technology (SELAN) is a private firm, which is engaged in oil exploration and production since 1992.

At 10:34 am, the stock hit Rs 269.80 on the BSE, up 7.66 per cent, with an m-cap of Rs 454.71 crore.
