Seed companies gain as govt announces continuation of price regulation
Surge in the share of seed companies was noticed in trade on Tuesday after the agriculture minister said government wont allow companies to exploit farmers.

Reacting to the development, scrips of Dhanuka Agritech, Monsanto, Sharda CropChem rallied as much as 5 per cent.
Agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh has said that the government will not allow companies such as Monsanto to exploit farmers and it will continue to regulate prices of seeds, an ET report said.
Dhanuka Agritech gained 4.87 per cent, Sharda CropChem (3.61 per cent), Monsanto (4.41 per cent).
