Sedemac Mechatronics investors may offload 10% stake worth Rs 1,329 crore through a block deal, with shares offered at a reported discount.
The proposed transaction represents around 10% of the company's equity and could help investors get approximately Rs 1,329 crore. The reported floor price for the block deal has been set at Rs 3,000 per share, which could represent a discount of up to 1.2% to Sedemac Mechatronics' prevailing market price. The shares are also expected to be subject to a 60-day lock-in on further sale.

Sedemac Mechatronics shares finished Wednesday's trading session at Rs 3,052.50 apiece, gaining 0.63% from the previous close of Rs 3,033.40 on the BSE.
During the session, the stock traded in a range of Rs 2,970.05 to Rs 3,080 on the BSE.
At the reported floor price of Rs 3,000, the proposed block deal would be priced roughly 1.7% below Wednesday's closing price.
Sedemac Mechatronics IPO and listing
Sedemac Mechatronics made its stock-market debut on March 11, 2026, following the completion of its initial public offering (IPO), through which the company raised Rs 1,087.45 crore.
The company's shares were listed on the NSE at Rs 1,535 per share, representing a 13.5% premium over the IPO issue price of Rs 1,352. On the BSE, the stock opened at Rs 1,510, a gain of 11.7% over the issue price.
At Wednesday's closing price of Rs 3,052.50, the stock has gained around 126% from its IPO issue price, meaning it has more than doubled since its listing.
