Seamec surges 5% after entering a deal with Resolve Salvage

NEW DELHI: Shares of Seamec jumped over 5 per cent in early trade on Thursday after the company entered an contract for charter hire for vessel with Resolve Salvage and Fire (Asia).

In a filing to BSE, the company said it had “entered a contract for the charter hire of vessel ‘Revelation’ with Resolve Salvage and Fire (Asia) for undertaking a job in West Coast of India.”

The tenure of the contract is for 25 days subject to extension.


“The contract will commence around the first week of January 2017. The value of charter during firm period is $244,000,” the company said.

The stock rose 5.23 per cent to hit a high of Rs 85.40 on BSE.
