MUMBAI: Sanjivani Paranteral Ltd's R&D unit has developed a new product for remedy of bird flu virus and other viruses such as lassa fever virus, HIV (AIDS) virus, Hepatitis B, yellow fever virus under the brand name 'Sancidal'.
This boosted shares of the company. At 2:13 pm, the stock climbed 9.36% to Rs 37.40 with volume traded at 42,292 against two-week average of 23,736 shares.
This product is potent, non-polluting, environment and eco-friendly. The product has a worldwide market for $3 billion, said the company in a statement to the BSE.
The company has already commercially launched the product in domestic market and negotiations are on way with multinationals for global market.
