Rolta India up over 5% on FCCB redemption of $134.70 mn

Rolta India Ltd surged over 5 percent in trade on Thursday after the company said it redeemed outstanding FCCBs aggregating $134.70 mn.

NEW DELHI: Rolta India Ltd surged over 5 percent in trade on Thursday after the company said it redeemed outstanding foreign currency convertible bonds ( FCCBs) aggregating $134.70 million, including a redemption premium of $38 million on the due date.

“The paid-up capital will remain unchanged post redemption of these FCCBs. The company made the payment to principal agent of FCCBs, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch,” the company said in a filing to the stock exchange.

At 01:00 p.m., Rolta India was trading 4.6 percent higher at Rs 79.30. It has hit a high of Rs 79.85 and a low of Rs 76.30 so far.
