RInfra stock up after SPV commissions 6th transmission line

The 220 kms long transmission line is the sixth line to be commissioned that will connect the two business and tourists centers of Western Maharashtra.

MUMBAI: Reliance Infrastructure's special purpose vehicle (SPV) Western Region Transmission (Maharashtra) Private Limited has commissioned another 400 kV double circuit transmission line between Solapur and Kolhapur in Maharashtra.

The 220 kms long transmission line is the sixth line to be commissioned that will connect the two business and tourists centers of Western Maharashtra.

"Out of nine, our six transmission lines have been successfully commissioned. We are committed to completing the project by FY13 that will facilitate 4000 MW power flow from eastern region to the western region of the country," said Alok Roy, CEO, Reliance Power Transmission.

At 12:15 p.m; Reliance Infrastructure was at Rs 569.70, up 0.83 percent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 573 and a low of Rs 564.90 in trade so far.
